URGENT: Thank You Email to UN Ambassador!
Dear Dr. Mazahir,
We urgently need your help! Will you take just a minute and click here to send an email to His Excellency, the UN Ambassador from Swaziland, urging him to continue to take the lead in protecting the innocence and health of children around the world.
Last year, since the Ambassador bravely spoke out about the harms of “comprehensive sexuality education,” we believe this year UN bureaucrats will do everything within their power to silence him. Comprehensive sexuality education is the number one goal of sexual rights activists. See below for more background on this issue.
In our action alerts we usually ask you to oppose some bad provision or other threat to the family at the UN. But it is just as important to recognize and thank those who show leadership and courage in protecting the family. This is especially true when smaller nations stand up against the sexual rights movement at the UN because they immediately come under intense pressure from UN agencies and developed nations such as the U.S. and European Union countries.
We need emails of support from around the world to flood Swaziland’s UN office mailbox, and we will also be copying the Prime Minister and other important Swaziland officials. We make it easy for you to send a pre-written email with just a few clicks.
Please forward this alert to as many people as you can and encourage them to also send an email of support and encouragement to the Ambassador as well.
Thank you for standing for the family today!
Last year at the UN Commission on Population and Development (CPD), Ambassador Zwelethu Mnisi of Swaziland did a very brave thing. He defied the liberal developed countries and their allies in UN agencies that are seeking to pressure African countries to expose their children to dangerous “sexual rights” indoctrination programs.
In his opening statement at CPD, Ambassador Mnisi made it clear that Swaziland will not be manipulated or pressured into implementing policies that are harmful to children and families.
“. . . My delegation has, however, noted with concern that several pro-abortion organizations have submitted statements under this agenda item, falsely asserting that abortion, contraception and comprehensive sex or sexuality education (particularly for young people) are international human rights, and should be guaranteed and (often funded) by governments.
We would like to put it on record that we do not view access to abortion as a human right. As a matter of fact the ICPD states that “In no case should abortion be promoted as a method of family planning.” Efforts by organizations that put pressure on governments to legalize abortion not only undermine national sovereignty but are also contrary to many nations legal, religious, moral and cultural beliefs.
On another note, we also do not view comprehensive sexuality education as an internationally recognized human right. Since it encourages children as young as five years old to experiment with their sexuality, my delegation is of the view that it undermines the already recognized right of parents to prevent their children from being exposed to controversial sexual themes.”
Ambassador Mnisi’s speech was the first time ever a UN ambassador has openly challenged the UN on its promotion of comprehensive sexuality education.
This issue is coming up again at the 2012 session of CPD next week, and we need his help again. Comprehensive sexuality education has again been proposed in the draft document under negotiation.
Needless to say, UN agencies, especially UNFPA, were not happy with the Ambassador’s 2011 statement, and we believe they will do everything within their power to try to stop Swaziland from speaking out on this issue again, especially since establishing comprehensive sexuality education is at the center of their plan.
If sexual rights activists can get comprehensive sexuality education mandated as a right for children, they can then enter every school with their curriculum which indoctrinates children into accepting LGBT lifestyles and rights, abortion, legalized prostitution, a right to sexual pleasure and much more. Click here to see our special report on this dangerous education. In fact the creators of comprehensive sexuality education admit it is intended to transform society by transforming gender roles and the way we view families.
Please join us in thanking Ambassador Mnisi and asking him to again play a leadership role in preventing sexual rights activists from establishing this kind of dangerous education for children as young as age 10. Please click here to send your letter.
